DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SEAT COVERS THAT ARE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR?
DID MERCEDES SELL SEAT COVERS FOR THE CAR?

Yes - they are availale new from Mercedes, but they're not cheap. The other alternative is to have G.A.A.H. (in SoCal) reproduce them, the finished product is excellent, and the cost is lower.

That is pretty impressive work for a repro, wow.

I have GAHH leather in both the seats in my 560SL (palomino) and on the driver's seat of my 560SEC and I have been happy with them (8 years for the SEC and going on 4 years for the SL). I have visited them in the past and can confirm they are a good operation.
