I wish MB/AMG would make up their mind on naturally aspirated vs. forced induction engines. To me this waffling from NA, supercharging, and now turbocharging only shows that they have no clear vision for the brand. It seems the only goal is to make more power than rivals.
For me, if I win the lottery, I'd have the outgoing 6.2 liter M156 engine transplanted. I like the fact that it's normally aspirated and compact. It makes more than enough power for me.

You're right about the vision. they lack the leadership that would set the company on the right tracks.
But M156 ! come on! its one of the worst block in MB history IMO. Its over revved, high compression, everything is specially made making it very expensive to maintain/repair (everything is special order), and the torque sucks !
My Dream block is a 6.5L M119 with 662NM torque. pure high displacement power.....
